State Organizations and Chapters

The Independent Insurance Agents of Texas (IIAT) is the nation’s largest state association of Trusted Choice® agencies. IIAT represents approximately 1,700 agencies and more than 16,000 agents and insurance professionals. IIAT is dedicated to being a trusted resource independent agents can rely on.

The mission of the Federation of Insurance Women of Texas is to promote and provide education and professional development for its members and the Texas insurance industry while emphasizing service in our communities.

The Texas Property and Casualty Insurance Guaranty Association (TPCIGA) is a non-profit, unincorporated association of all Texas-licensed property and casualty insurers. It was created by the Texas legislature to provide protections to Texas insurance policyholders and claimants when an insurance company fails.

National Organizations and Chapters

The Society of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters is a community of credentialed property and casualty insurance professionals who promote excellence through ethical behavior and continuing education.

The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (Big "I") is a national alliance of more than a quarter million business owners and their employees who offer all types of insurance and financial services products.

The PIA represents independent insurance agents in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia. They operate cutting-edge agencies and treat their customers like neighbors, providing personal support and service.

Creating, developing, and delivering practical continuing education programs for everyone involved in the insurance and risk management industry is the challenge and purpose of The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research.
